It doesn’t happen overnight, especially when you dont have a blank cheque but we can take solace in the fact we only lost the league on goal difference.

Hell, they couldn’t even make it out of the group stage in the UEFA Champions League. Also they lost a 7-9 point in April 2012 which gave Manchester City in the lead in the table. Manchester United has been inconsistent for a while now.
