Manchester United are reported to be in talks with Juventus for the signature of youngster Paul Pogba this summer.

The player who used to be with the club left to become a star in Italy but the Red Devils chief executive Ed Woodward wants the player to return to Old Trafford. According to Sky Sports News HQ, Man United are ready to drop as much as £100 million to sign the Frenchman this summer.

Juventus would ordinarily want the player to remain at the club but such a huge offer would be very difficult to refuse. Sources say both clubs have begun talks already and if it actualizes the young player could receive as much as £300,000 in weekly wages. The 23-year old left the club back in 2012, after growing with the club’s academy but has gone on to make a name big for himself, wining the Serie A title for four consecutive years.

The player would not be easy to get as Real Madrid are also interested. The Spanish giant are a huge admirer of the player and want him to move to the Bernabeu. However, reports have it that the player only wants the talks to make real progress when the Euro 2016 concludes in France on Sunday. France play Portugal in the finals, after seeing off Germany in the semi finals on Thursday, July 7th.

Woodward has met the agent of Pogba recently, after signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrik Mkhitaryan, both of whom are represented by the Dutch-based, Italian-born lawyer. If the Pogba deal doesn’t go through, the Red Devils are believed to be also interested on Blaise Matuidi, also represented by Raiola. The Frenchman has had a great time at the Euro 2016 and put up a sterling performance for his club Paris St. Germaine in the last campaign. Raiola confirmed that three clubs are desperate for Pogba but they have only just begun the initial talks.
