Crystal Palace are reportedly keen to re-sign English right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United. This is according to the report from The Athletic which stated that Crystal Palace want to sign the player who would be allowed to leave Manchester United when the summer’s transfer window reopens this summer.
Wan-Bissaka, 24, was the first choice right-back in his first two seasons at Manchester United until this season when he has had to share the position with Portuguese star DiogoDalot. He has 20 appearances in the Premier League this season in addition to six Champions League outings.
Crystal Palace target Wan-Bissaka might not be able to add to his 20 appearances in the league when Chelsea are guests of Manchester United on Thursday as he’s a doubt for the game billed to take place at Old Trafford. The right-sided defender is doubtful for the game due to injury. His injury status ahead of the game was revealed by interim manager Ralf Rangnick during his pre-match press conference on Wednesday. The player will go through a late fitness test to determine his availability for the game with Manchester United hoping to put an end to a run of two consecutive defeats in the league. The Red Devils have lost to Liverpool and Arsenal in their last two Premier League matches thereby hurting their chances of finishing in a Champions League position at the end of this season.
